Calling all Gippsland TFE members…

Gippsland Educators Language & Literacy (GELL) is a branch of Think Forward Educators. In this session we will focus on the 44 speech sounds of English - how the sounds are produced and the relationships between sounds. Such knowledge allows an instructor to accurately teach phoneme-grapheme relationships and gain an insight into the reading and spelling errors observed. We will then explore how to design and use a Sound Wall approach within early reading and spelling instruction. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences with the group
