Join Sarah Kelly and Chloe Painter for the open the Think Forward Educators Geelong Branch.

To officially open the Think Forward Educators Geelong Branch, we warmly welcome you to join us for a meet and great. Come, enjoy a drink and network with fellow Geelong educators who are navigating similar challenges and successes in an effort to align their practice to the current evidence base.

Places are limited due to current Covid restrictions.

Sarah Kelly

Sarah Kelly is the Principal of St. Robert’s Catholic School in Newtown, Victoria. She is committed to evidence-based teaching practices and explicit instruction in the 5 key components of reading. Sarah has held a number of leadership positions in the Geelong region; as a Literacy Leader, Learning and Teaching Leader and Deputy Principal prior to commencing her current role. St. Robert’s is committed to the ongoing investment in teacher knowledge and putting the appropriate supports and structures in place for staff to be able to continuously discuss and refine their practice.

Chloe Painter

Chloe Painter is an instructional coach at St. Robert’s Catholic School in Newtown, Victoria. She is passionate about the improvement of literacy outcomes for all students and has held teaching and leadership roles in the Geelong region. Chloe is committed to collaborating with fellow educators and building a supportive professional learning network. Her current interests lie in working with teaching teams to unpack the current evidence base to align their teacher practices in a practical and efficient, yet sustainable way.
